Application of the Digital Twin for Christmas trees - Petrobras
For one of our industry-leading partners, MindSim has brought a digital revolution. Using "MindSim Digital Twin" (MDT), a combination of digital twins and analytics. We were able to predict valve failures and identify challenges in the subsea control system.
Challenge: How to use data to avoid unnecessary interventions in the submarine control system (Christmas trees, manifold and jumper).
Benefits:
- Increased well availability
- Reduction of costs related to RSV and shipments
- Reduction of maintenance costs (preventive instead of corrective)
- Reduction of time to identify bottlenecks, reducing time for intervention (due to online monitoring)
